How on earth are you ever going to explain in terms of physics and chemistry, a simple biological phenomenon as ‘first love’? -- Albert Einstein.
I really wonder how on earth are you ever… ever going to explain in terms of physics and chemistry, the simplest creations of God, and how are you ever going to give them a name… science, magic, imagination, art. Well, these are just certain names given by great philosophers and thinkers of their times.
But is it really possible to bind the emotions into words; is it so easy to give name to a relationship, can anything and everything be described in words?
Does the name ‘rainbow’ suffice when sun’s rays meet the rain water; is it able to depict the exuberance of the colors that make it?
When someone puts his heart out on a sheet of paper, is it sufficient to call it a ‘poem’; can it be ever going to explain the imagination that lies behind his creation?
Morning breeze, a drop of dew on a green leaf, the red color of sky and the sun half covered with clouds; can it just be named as ‘nature’, is it able to depict how this sight holds the whole beauty of this world?
Have you ever felt the emotions of leaves when it rains, have you ever heard the music in their voices, the way they chat with drops of rain and play hide n seek with the winds. Can it just be called ‘rustling’?
Sa re ga ma pa dha ni sa… these seven swar, turned into ragas have the power to melt the rocks, to ignite the fire, to mesmerize every being on earth, to make it rain and what not, does the word ’music’ comprises all these?
Colors have the capability to combine and turn into a thousand forms, to create a picture of almost everything known to mankind, to depict the misery and reveal the magnanimity, is it just a form of ‘art’?
Hope, belief, purity, devotion and the entire knowledge of this world seems incapable of exhibiting what a simple ‘Meera’ can convey. The charm she found in bhakti of her Giridhar Gopal; can it be named?
I don’t know… may be I never would, but can this ‘dilemma’, ‘ambiguity’ or I must say ‘perplexity’; can it itself be named? Can this ‘maze’ be ever solved?
